| BUILDING COMMITTEE MEETING
There is a Building Committee Meeting planned for Saturday,
April 14th at 9:30 a.m. to review Bid Packages received.
The Geary Baptist Church
Building Committee has met numerous times since May 2000.
Its purpose has been to develop plans and to estimate the
cost of options for enlarging our physical space for worship
and other associated ministries.
Please continue to be in prayer for our Building Committee
- for wisdom from God and for unity in our church as we seek
His will. Please ask any questions you may have by contacting
one of the members of the committee, by placing your written
question in the box provided at the back of the church, or
by bringing it to the floor during a committee meeting.
Building Commitee Update
- October 15th, 2006 Bulletin.
SITE CONSTRUCTION FOR NEW CHURCH
The engineered fill has been placed and compacted to carry
the new church foundation load. The parsonage, family centre
and church are all connected to the new septic bed. Topsoil
has been spread over the new septic bed and we will put grass
seed on it soon. Free crushed concrete bricks and blocks are
now being hauled in to build up the site elevation west of
the future church. This is being leveled. Thank you for your
prayers.
Scale drawings of the proposed new church building were included
in the August 1st 2004 church bulletin. Click image thumbnail
